Anan wildlife Observatory offers visitors the rare opportunity to enjoy
black and brown bear viewing in the Tongass National Forest of
SE Alaska!
Alaska Vistas tour boat Triton lands guests

The short walk into the observatory takes the group
into BEAR COUNTRY! Bears are all around!

The Anan Bear Observatory is designed for safe viewing by both people and bears.
There is an outhouse available at the observatory -- in this photo, it's just
to the right of the bear.
Harbor Seals are among the many marine mammals that
feed near Anan Creek.
Caution should be used on the trail-bears use it too!
The path to Anan Wildlife Observatory is an easy to
moderate mostly boardwalk trail.
Anan Observation Platform features a covered viewing
area-remember you will be visiting a rain forest!
